Allen Ba
Modern Wushu Head Instructor

Allen Ba has been practicing modern wushu since the age of 4. At age 9, Allen joined the Henan professional wushu team, becoming a coach at age 18. Coach Ba has extensive wushu taolu competition experience in China. Bringing his expertise to Canada, Apex welcomes Coach Ba as our Head Modern Wushu instructor.

Some of Coach Ba's top achievements:

  • 2001 Daoshu and Nanquan champion - Chinese 9th Sports games
  • 2004 National All-Around Champion (Gunshu, Daoshu, XingYiQuan) - Chinese Championships, received the title of "China's First Warrior"

Sabir Bagautdinov
Sanshou Head Instructor

Sabir began his Sanshou training at the age of ten at the "Five Directions of the World" sports school in Dagestan, Russia (Training with world champions Salihov Muslim, Beletov Djanhuvat, Ataev Bozigit). Sabir's most notable accomplishments in Sanshou competition:

  • 2007 Gold Medal - World Cup Championships, Italy
  • 2008 Gold Medal - Provincial Championships, Dagestan
  • 2008 Gold Medal - Russian National Championships

Since coming to Canada in 2008, Sabir has proven to be a formidable opponent in Canadian competition, and recognized as one of Canada's top Sanshou fighters. He is committed to promoting the sport of Sanshou in Canada and helping to train Canadian Sanshou athletes.
